Water Based Degreaser

Description and Use
Purple Plus (PP) is designed for the maximum in power and safety, combined with total biodegradability. It will remove very heavy grease from heavy equipment and rolling stock, yet it will not harm the paint on the equipment being cleaned. PP is designed to enable the user to clean most soils from the paint without brushing or restoring to low pressure application. PP is a through the pressure washer type degreaser that can be applied at high dilutions to save you money. This solution works well in hot or cold water though when used in hot water it will also clean the pressure washer coils as it works. With a good rinse PP leaves no film or water spots on glass. There are no hazardous ingredients in PP. Note: Product is sold as a BC product which first must be cut 4 parts water to 1 part Purple Plus BC to become regular Purple Plus.

Surface & Air Temperatures
Best cleaning results are obtained when air is above 40° Fahrenheit.

Pre-Testing
Always test prior to beginning full-scale cleaning operations. Testing should confirm cleaning effectiveness.

Dilutions
15:1 to 30:1 degreasing trucks and heavy equipment. 20:1- 50:1 brushless truck washing. 100:1 brush type cleaning.

Application Instructions
High or low pressure applications between 60 to 3000 psi, at high pressure rinse between 500 to 3000 psi.

Safety Information
Precautionary Measures: Always wear goggles and rubber gloves when handling this product. Keep off of skin and clothing. If material comes in contact with clothing, wash before reuse. Contains 2-Butoxyethanol, Potassium Hydroxide. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Avoid breathing fumes. Keep container closed when not in use. Use with adequate ventilation. Applicators should wear rain suit of plastic, rubber or PVC, boots and gloves, face shields and goggles to avoid splash to bare skin or eyes. Dispose of empty containers according to federal, state and local requirements. Do not use for any other applications other than specified. Do not remove label. First Aid +
Instructions in Case of Contact or Exposure Skin & Eye Contact:
Eyes: Flush thoroughly with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Skin: Wash off with water. If irritation develops, call physician.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink copious amounts of water. Seek medical attention.

Spill or Leak Procedures
Waste Disposal Method: Check state, local or federal regulations for your area. Steps to be taken if material is released or spilled: wear proper protective equipment while doing cleanup. Large spill: Dike and contain for intended use. Small spill: absorb on oil dry and place in approved container for disposal.

Container Handling/Storage
Keep container closed when not in use. Store in containers with Viton seals or silicon sealant gaskets.
