ALUMIX
Hydrofluoric Acid Aluminum Brightener
Description:
A very aggressive hydroflouric acid based aluminum
brightener that leaves a very nice soft shine on the surface. This
is a high strength aluminum cleaner that is not safe on glass and
should not be handled in the BC state without extensive safety precautions.
This is the concentrate that will make Alumix blends 50, 30, or
Mild. The diluting procedure should be done with full safety gear
on and it is especially important to protect the eyes. Hydroflouric
acid burns people both on the skin and under it. Goggles and gloves
and proper protective gear should be worn at all times when using
a hydroflouric product. This blend at use dilution is much safer
than the concentrated material but it is wise to seek medical attention
if the concentrate goes on your skin. Vaseline on the skin before
spraying may help reduce redness but will not prevent acid burning.
Directions:
This product after dilution may be applied downstream
through a pressure washer or by means of low pressure applicator
or by brushing Alumix 50 is best used outside on very dirty aluminum
trailers but can be used for two stepping in cases of extreme soil.
Alumix 30 is best used in truckwash tunnels where OSHA exposure
limits are a concern and rail brightening or two step cleaning is
the aim. Alumix Mild is for two step truck washing only.

Alumix BC 5 gallons in a 55 gallon drum = Alumix
