PRODUCT ALERT: PAV-R Clean
PAVER AND RETAINING WALL CLEANER NOW AVAILABLE
@ EACO CHEM INC.
Clean the Pave by riding the Wave using EACO CHEM INC. innovative
chemistry. These products will remove efflorescence, calcite deposits
and rust stains. Industry problems that occur with these two types
of construction material has been well documented.
CALCITE: Appears as a whitish, thick deposit on walls and
usually builds overtime.
EFFLORESCENCE: Appears as a thin white film on pavers and
walls. This type of deposit can form on any type of concrete product.
This white powdery film is caused by the residue of soluble salts
carried to the surface by moisture. This film can be removed with
our cleaners and then sealed to reveal the deep natural color of
the segmented concrete.
 RETAINING
WALL BLOCK: The retaining wall shows calcite that has built up over
time due to moisture seeping through the wall over time. This type
of deposit is hard to remove. The removal of the deposit may require
a product that causes color run. The effect of this run on the block
is minimal when done in a controlled application prior to sealing
the block.

PAVERS: These photos show worst case scenario. Typical efflorescence
is a white powdery film that is present on the pavers at the time
of purchase. Manufactures of pavers recommend installation, then
removal of the efflorescence with a chemical (color run is OK),
then use of a sealer. The pavers in the photos were cleaned but
not sealed.
